Who We Are
WonderBlossom Learning Studio is a Saturday enrichment program specially designed for elementary students enrolled in G&T programs throughout Queens.
Why We Are
Children who are advanced learners have a voracious appetite for knowledge and creative endeavors. They need multiple sources from which to absorb information and outlets through which to express themselves. They crave complexity and love questions. WBLS tailors instruction for these gifted students through developmentally appropriate content in the science or humanities and engaging STEAM activities. Through an integrated project based approach, we fully go beyond the school curriculum to explore one theme per semester and dive deeply into all it has to offer. By the end of the semester, a culminating event will showcase what experts they’ve become!
What We Offer
We currently offer enrichment programs in two grade bands built around age-appropriate themes. We believe advanced learners benefit from multi-age groupings and use differentiation methods to keep all students engaged. With a small class size of 6 students, our bespoke experience ensures that every child gets the attention they deserve.
What We Are Not
At WonderBlossom Learning Studio, we are all about joyful learning. Our classes are crafted to develop a passion for knowledge and a love of imagination — not to improve test scores. (Though that might happend anyway.)
