Kindergarten/ 1st Grade Zoologists

MAGNIFICENT MAMMALS

PART 1: Saturdays, 9:30 - 11:00 A.M. (6 sessions) starting January 2026

Dig deep into the natural world with squirrels, badgers, and aardvarks! In this hands-on, curiosity-fueled class, we’ll meet the cute, the furry, and the downright bizarre as we explore what makes a mammal… well, a mammal.

Our young zoologists will become Mammal Detectives, who investigate:

  • the incredible diversity of mammals across the globe

  • the remarkable adaptations that help them thrive in every habitat

  • how mammals interact with—and impact—the ecosystems they call home.

With the help of green screen technology, we’ll “travel” to wild habitats around the world to observe mammals in action. Students will also dream up and design their own mythical mammals, complete with unique characteristics and behaviors. Using simple coding tools and programmable robots, they’ll even map a path for their imaginary creatures to explore!
